Some examples of Doctors Note being mandatory is:
No. The fine hair stroke line is what makes gives you the natural brow look. With the constant production of oil, those strokes will heal soft and diffused look; rather than sharp fine lines. End results will give you a powdered undesired look and will fade faster than average time.
No. Accutane wears down your body and strains the skin (making it more fragile and sensitive). It has been reported to increase the risk of hypertrophic scar formation after chemical peels or dermabrasion. You MUST be off of it at least 6 months before your appointment. The effects of Accutane will remain in your body for a minimum of 6 months to a year.
Consult with your MD before stopping any RX.
With application of anesthetics , there should be little to no pain. It does vary from person to person because no skin or pain tolerance are the same.
Yes! Men need brow love too!
No. I am sorry for the inconvenience but when I deny a service for XYZ medication or condition, it is for YOUR OWN BENEFIT!
- I will give you explanation in depth as to why you were denied service.
In certain cases, I can color correct or work over your old PMU. Consultation is needed BEFORE booking to determine what we can do and if we can do anything. It ultimately depends on your current eyebrows, skin, length since last procedure, and pigment.
Most cases require removal, but i have seen a few where the pigment is very light to work on.
IMAGINE In this scenario your eyebrows are the cup and pigment is the water: You have a cup of water and it’s completely full. Will we be able to add more water (Color Correction)? No. The cup is already full and will spill. This is the same with old PMU. If the brows are overly saturated, they will not take color correcting pigment. For color correction to work it needs to be lightly saturated or close to nothing.
No, but you are welcome to schedule your appointment for a date after your expected due date. I'd recommend 3+ months after birth to allow hormones to regulate.
No. If you are exclusively breastfeeding, partially breastfeeding or pumping, you cannot get services done by me. You are welcome to book a date you think you might be done.
This is for your baby's benefit!
If you regularly use botox, you will need to wait a minimum of 4-6 weeks (after) botox, prior to or following your appointment. Please keep in mind your Touch-Up appointment as well.
All eyebrow procedures fall under PMU, known as Permanent Make-Up. Although the goal is longevity, these procedures do not guarantee permanent results, thus sometimes being referred to Semi-Permanent Makeup.
The average retention and lifetime of pigments in the skin ranges from 10-36 months. The rate of retention depends on skin type, lifestyle, health, hormonal levels, sun exposure, medications and conditions.
No two clients have same retention and results.
It is recommended you schedule your 12-36 month Touch-Up's for "Color Boost".
The pigment will fade faster the longer you spend in the sun or tanning bed WITHOUT protection. This can cause different hues of the original pigment. (Ex: Red or Grey tones)
Wear SPF once fully healed!
Absolutely ! Eyebrows are a two step process. The second session is used to fill in any areas that healed patchy. This is the time to adjust color/shape/size as needed.Ex: If you'd like to go darker.
The touch-up is what will help prolong the life of your brows!
AVOID working out for 7 days after the procedure. Light exercise is fine due to minimal sweating, but you MUST clean the tattooed area when you're done exercising. The salt in the sweat will fade the pigment very quickly and give poor results.(Clean them as instructed in aftercare.)
Initial Session: Expect to be here for THREE HOURS (3). Most times I might take the full three hours, other times we can be done in a hour and a half. Do come in with your mind set on 3 hours. Do NOT rush the process because that will not guarantee you the best results.
Touch-Up (Perfecting Session): It can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Could be less depending on your retention and adjustments
NO!! Please do not tweeze, thread, wax, tint, or modify your eyebrows in any way for as long as possible for a minimum of TWO WEEKS before appointment.Your regular brow maintenance may resume once they have healed.
I advise that you stop using any Retin-A products at least 30 days prior to your appointment.
There are no guarantees on final results, all individuals heal and take pigment differently. The only thing i can guarantee is that my number one priority is your safety and health from your initial service to any perfecting session.
Cash is preferred, but all major credit and debit cards are accepted. We do NOT accept checks. We accept AFTERPAY as well, please read payment policies.
Tipping Isn't expected, but It's greatly appreciated!
We will book your Touch-Up appointment 8 weeks after your Initial session. So keep in mind it can take up to 2.5 months to complete your eyebrow transformation. The eyebrows typically take 10-14 days to fully heal, If you have any concerns about your appointment during a certain trip, feel free to reach out to get your concerns cleared up.
When booking your appointment, keep in mind your vacations and other activities since there are certain things you need to avoid before and after your appointment. (Ex: Direct sunlight, sweating, swimming, etc.)
Generally most people will suffice with two sessions; Initial Service and 8 Week Touch-Up. In rare cases, a third session might be required; This is due to many factors.
